We are three hundred plus souls from many lands and cultures who come together in the middle of Los Angeles in a century-old parish that thrives as it prays, sings, works, serves, and plays together. We are also a flourishing K-6 elementary school, a preschool, a soup kitchen and food pantry, prayer groups, a multi-year Education for Ministry group, book groups, men’s and women’s groups, and much more. Worship with Korean Congregation
On the second Sundays of the month we informally call the 10:30 service our “All Family Service”.  This is a day when all of aspects of our St. James’ community come together to celebrate the Eucharist with our Korean speaking congregation, our St. James School Choir, and our African Fellowship.

** Childcare and Sunday School is available from 10:15am-12:15pm in the Parish Hall.

Solemn Choral Evensong
Solemn Evensong (sung Evening Prayer) forms the centerpiece of the musical offerings at Saint James’ in the City. Patterned after the choral services offered daily in the great Cathedrals of England, these services are sung on the second Sunday of the month, October through May at 4:30pm, by the Choir of Saint James’.

Thank you all for your generosity in supporting the homeless through filling eight Welcome Home baskets!
