“If one member suffers, all suffer together with it; if one member is honored, all rejoice together with it. Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.” 1st Cor.12:26-27
Hello everyone, thank you for your love, interest, and help for the Korean Ministry at St. James’ In-the-City, the center of Spiritual home for all.
Please join us for our 12:15 Korean language service, with lunch and fellowship after the service. If you come, you will experience not the Korean songs from Billboard’s number 1 BTS, or PSY’s Gangnam Style, but Korean traditional Music and Arts. You can be a witness to see and feel the values of traditions and inheritances that have been passed down to us, not just modern technologies like Samsung phones or LG electronics. as like St. James’ Church is diverse in both culture and people.
If you would like, we would even love to teach you simple Korean language that are often seen on signboards around the church. We like to enjoy our life with you, laugh together, cry together, as one body here at St. James’ community, the central spot of Koreatown. We are delighted to work with all our members and our new Rector Mother Kate who is one of the sources of our great happiness.
Your servant in Christ,
The Rev. John Kim
Associate for Korean Ministries
