During the renovation of the church (scheduled for completion in early 2026) all events take place in the Parish Hall located opposite the church off the central courtyard.

Solemn Evensong

The semi-professional Choir of Saint James distinguished itself in 1996 as the first American Choir to have sung in performance with the Choir of Westminster Abbey, London. They have since completed four tours of the British Isles and are pleased to offer the Los Angeles community the uniquely Anglican service of Evensong in the style of the great English Cathedrals on the second Sunday of each month at 4:15 PM, October through May. Free. Donations accepted.

International Laureates Organ Series

Due to our church building undergoing renovation through the beginning of 2026, the David John Falconer Memorial Organ has been partially removed and will undergo maintenance and updating. The series, founded in 1996 with a generous grant from the Ahmanson Foundation, will resume when our building is re-opened to the public in 2026.
