Fellowships

African Fellowship

The purpose of this fellowship is to provide a forum for all people: men, women, and children in Southern California, most especially at St. James Church, to embrace and maintain unity, culture and values of Africans both in the United States and Africa, with emphasis on religious closeness and family values. Membership is open to all Africans and other interested people of all religions. Please feel free to join us during our regular monthly meetings which are generally held on the 1st Sunday of each month after the 10:30 am service in the school hall.

Caribbean Fellowship

Presently, the Caribbean Fellowship consists of members from Anguilla, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Montserrat, Nicaragua, St. Christopher & Nevis, and Trinidad & Tobago among others. As the Caribbean Fellowship at St. James’ we continue to go out into the community in our own collective and personal Christian way to invite and to bring new members to St. James Church. Many of us serve as Ushers, Lay Clerks, Oblation Bearers, Greeters, Lay Eucharistic Ministers, and Pastoral Care ministers; and with pleasure, we host Coffee Hour after the 10:30am service on a regular basis.
